Health professionals as mothers of adult children with schizophrenia
21 February 2018
The aim of the study is to gain a deeper insight and understanding into the stories of the maternal experience of simultaneously being a health professional and mother of a son or daughter with this psychotic condition.
The key question being asked is: What stories do health professionals who are mothers tell of their experiences of negotiating care for their sons and daughters with schizophrenia?
